Grand Canyon is just a big hole in the ground. Very pretty, but nothing to get all excited about.
After about 2 hours, it's time to go home.

Done all that. I guess if you are not used to that kind of terrain it is worth it. But I live not far from the Painted Desert or the Petrified Forest and up in the pines. And there is a really pretty canyon not too terribly far south from here with a river in it.
So it's not worth the extravagant amount of money charged to get in to see something like that.
But for people back East, I guess it's pretty enough.
