Getting spayed.

I am a new cat owner (very happy one). My baby girl is 6 months and I've had her since she was 9 weeks. She's very spoiled and has quite the personality! She is getting spayed next week and I know it is necessary for her health, but I am a bit nervous that her peraonaltiy will change or she will be upset with me, If that makes sense. I don't want her love and affection towards me to change. Am I just thinking crazy?!

Spaying her will not change the personality you have come to love. If anything, spaying/neutering can sometimes make a cat more affectionate.

She also will not hate you. Some cats do get a little stressed; but, she should be better once she is home and settles back into her routine.
