Getting Spam From This Website

I'm used to getting an email from this site when a new thread is posted, but I got a cluster of weird emails claiming to be from the Cat Site that appear to be advertisements from a foreign country. Part of the emails seen to be in Hebrew (maybe?) I captured a partial screenshot of each one. Each email is very long, and if you scroll down, it gives you a list of more than twenty phone numbers to click on to receive various (weird) services. Has anyone else gotten emails like these?

I'm quite sure the writing is Devnagari, which is the written form of Hindi, as used in India.

I get e-mail notifications from certain threads, but all in English and perfectly coherent. Maybe turn off the option for notifications in your account settings?

I'm also getting those same emails. I never opened them though and it's a good thing too.
I hate when others hack into a site and send those kinds of emails to all the members. It's just flying monkey butt business.

This morning we had a spammer post a bunch of threads. Since you are watching the forum they posted in, you got notifications emails about it just like you would any other thread that was started in that forum. The threads were quickly deleted and the spammer banned.
