I brought our new kitten home on Friday and I understand that he is nervous and frightened being in a new place which also has a bigger cat.
But he really does have a gas problem!! and I mean all the time!! his litter tray in the morning is awful - I have never smelt anything like it before - I actually have to take the tray outside for a while and open all the windows and turn the bathroom fan on. I dont have a problem usually with the smells but this one is intense.
And his gas problem is CONSTANT!! I thought it was just when he got frightened - like when Tipsy came up to him, but its not its whenever he is frightened or relaxed or anything!
Last night he was sleeping on my chest while we were watching TV and it was constant!! and every time I think I am going to gag - the poor little fella!!!
anyway - just wanted to know if this is something I should be concerned with? It has only been 4 days - should I give it longer? Should I try changing foods? As I said I have never had this problem before and not sure which way to go.
I am sure there have been posts about this before - but I cant seem to find any.
thanks in advance for any advice
