Actually, if you convert both litres->US Gallons, and $CDN->$US, 1.30/litre works out to $4.46/gallon -- but that still sucks! And that's what it is around here too. YUK!
It's $2.95 a gallon in Pittsburgh,PA and $3.14 in Columbus,OH. This is rediculous and wages certainly aren't going up. I am glad I have a sub-compact with a small 4 cylinder engine. I coudn't do it without the car that I have.
We're up to $3.37 around here. $3.28 when you go into the city.
What disgusts me though is that there is no cause for this. I.e. we had to suffer last year because of Katrina and Rita. What's their excuse for needing to raise them again?!
Wow, I really feel fortunate that ours around here is not as high as some of yours. Ours is 2.99 per gallon, up .10 since yesterday. What's up with all of this?
Here it is about 108.9 (which is $1.08 per litre). We filled up our new car yesterday and it only cost $40 which is not bad at all compared to our old one that about between $50-60 when gas was around $1.
