I have 2 kittens, they're both 9 weeks old from the same litter.. one has put on more weight than the other and its concerned me a bit but she was eating so I figured she just had a faster metabolism or something (they're both active and playful and they nap and play during the same times)
However, today when I was eating the smaller kitten became extremely aggressive, hissing and growling for my food.. Which leads me to think she was starving.. I don't monitor their intake as I leave dry food out at all times so I got to thinking if she wanted my food and was that aggressive over it (the first time I've ever seen her aggressive) she must not like her food and prefers wet food.
Since I'm not at all an expert and this is the first time I've owned kittens I thought I'd ask here if that sounds like it could be true or maybe she was just in a bad mood or something else.. thought I'd ask more experienced kitty owners
thoughts?
