Full proof way to give cat pill

When Louise was at the Vet , the Tech gave her a pocket(no pill) as a treat and Louise looked at it like it was a pencil eraser and looked away! No interest .

I think my cat may like the texture as the pocket does smell more like a pencil eraser than food .

For cats who have wised up to pills and the process of being made to take them, I've seen one method where you put the pill into some unseasoned human food that is safe for cats and then "accidentally" drop it onto the floor while at the counter. The cat then thinks they are getting away with snatching a treat they shouldn't be having.
