Hi All, I have a 20 month old kitty, Eddie, who just underwent a full mouth extraction due to severe juvenile stomatitis. His surgery went well, but he still isn’t himself after a week. It seems that everywhere I read folks says their cats are back to normal in 2-3days. Eddie isnt back to normal, he’s eating little bits and very tired. Any stories out there regarding healing time would be helpful, thanks! We go back to the vet in a week but may give her a call sooner.

Spmetimes even full mouth extractions don't fix stomatitis :sigh:. Can you look in his mouth and see what's going on in there? Do you see redness, inflammation? I would say at minimum a CALL to you Vet is in order to discuss how Eddie appears to be feeling.

BTW, is he still on pain meds? If so, it could be something as simple as that...that those need adjusting :crossfingers:
