awww i love those names consider the 2 older ones called scooby and jasmine....Originally Posted by tab
oh how wonderful! that reminds me of when i bought my hooded rat, jasmine (about 18 years ago now). she presented me with 10 babies a short while afterwards. they were such fun. i had a 2 tier cage and i would put a cardboard tube down the stairs in it. the babies would line up to walk up the stairs and then slide down the tube! they were so cute.
i kept one, scooby, but i sold the rest to a local pet store that were really into rats. it was funny though, because as i was walking through town with them in the cage to go to the pet shop, a lady stopped me and said 'oh aren't they gorgeous, what are they?' as soon as i said 'baby rats' she wrinkled her nose, said 'yuck' and walked away.
so i would be honoured if you would consider jasmine or scooby (or both) as possible names for your babies.

It amazes me that they develop further after they are born (aside from growing). I never knew that.
Looking forward to watching them grow!
