I bough a fresh catnip plant earlier for my cats- first time buying it. From petco.

Monet is going crazy over it! I think I need to limit his time with the plant. What's the best way to store and preserve the plants life? Put it in the fridge? I would like it out of his reach and let him have fun as a treat once a day

I do not have a green thumb. I can't keep the cat grass alive

Put it next to a bag of cheetos?  Or Funyuns?

The plant needs light, is there anywhere closed off to him?

Do you live an apartment or a house? Even so, is there a little area where you can perhaps plop it outside and bring it in when desired or  perhaps just take a couple pieces off of it every so often? That's the best idea I can think of.

My kitty has a catnip sack that disappears and I have to limit her use of it too

My boyfriends mom got us a plant from Pennsylvania really really fresh. The first day we got it Maia and Foley knocked it down from the counter. It has not grow a lot. I put in close to the window so it takes light but it's to hot and it dries it. It revives with a little water. I have managed to keep it alive so far but It doesn't grow a lot. Leaves look fresh but they're small :( they like rubbing against the plant. :rbheart: but now they don't try to do anything to it.
