I found a dried worm on the floor. It was pink and about two inches long. I'm housebound at the moment so I couldn't have brought the worm in on my shoes. It must have come out of our new one year old cat. I found it shortly after mopping up a pool of her diahrhea (spelling?) I am guessing from all this that the cat has worms. The last time I saw a cat with worms they were long wet white things dangling out of the backside. Are there several different types?
Can we just get worming tablets or do we have to take her to the vet?
Is there a particular kind of worming tablet that we should get?
What happens after she takes the tablet? Will she have diahrhea all over the flat?
Their eggs aren't air borne are they? I've been clearing out the litter tray and it's quite dusty. Don't like to think I've been breathing them in. Yuck yuck yuck.
