I am currently fosternig 6 Lab X puppies for the humane society I volunteer for. They were born 11/4/2006. Mom was a stray these people found. Mom was always thin/sickly. They finally decided to take her to the vet when the pups were 4 weeks old. Sadly, when the people got home from work, mom was dead in the yard.
So, these pups have been eating puppy chow & getting puppy milk since they were 4 weeks old. Casper is the white female, Copper is the gold male, Carmen is a black female, Courage is a black male, Charlie is a black male, & Casey is a black female. I cannot tell the black 4 apart. I didn't look at their descriptions before I brough them home!
I put collars on 3 of the 4 black ones. I call them red collar, blue collar, stripey collar, & no collar!
They are outside shut in a shed(I got told no to housepuppies). It's like 55* F in that shed! I couldn't believe how warm it was...I thought I was going to have to move them to the heated shop(same temp in there). A few int he shed pics....
Today playing outside...
They weren't allowed to touch the ground at the humane society because of parvo, so they are thrilled to be running around here! I cut the legs off some old blue jeans so they'd have more toys. I must admit, I am loving this whole puppy fostering thing!
I'll post more as I get them taken & in my photobucket!
