This is Annie, she is one of 3 mother cats I pulled from a high kill shelter to save from euthanasia, the shelter is 3 hours away so I often come home with more cats then I said I was going for. Especially when I am told that I am their last hope, that if I don't take them then they will be pts, I cant say no and be a death sentence. Sometimes a friend might have room to foster too, so there is usually somewhere I can put extra kitties. Annie was so scared at the shelter she was shaking like a leaf and refusing to eat, after some gentle coaxing and some turkey baby food she is now eating well, and loves to get attention. She is a completely different cat from the one I brought home 2 weeks ago.
This is Lyra, the talkative attention demander
This is Delilah-- the chunky monkey who is always nursing
This is sweet little Penelope
And the last of Annies girl's- Daisy
One of my favorite pictures- Annie and Delilah stretching
