Ohmigosh!! Thanks so much for posting that! I think "Simon's Cat" is absolutely brilliant, and to see a piece about the originator is wonderful! I loved that part way through the interview, the cat jumped up on the fridge and made a scene.
He obviously has studied cats' behavior, because each one I've seen is hysterical and right on the money.
I love that there's merchandise, and I may have to get something.
Very cool, also that he's got a book coming out, although half the charm of the internet strip are the sounds.
I love it! I want the umbrella! I normally don't like umbrellas (it's only water), but I'd use that one...
Hugh is quite the character... "you aren't paying attention to ME! So I'm gonna knock something off the refrigerator. So there" He's also a gorgeous cat.
They are awesome - both Simon and Hugh - the part when he jumps on the fridge and drops something on the floor is just hilarious
Love how Simon just understands he is just a "slave" to Hugh and does his part so well, also sharing his antics with us.
It is so true that we see Hugh in our cats - I totally see Hope in it, and sometimes Lucky...
I just watched a bunch of them and laughed out loud! The box one is hysterical! Simon has the little movements and traits down to a T....the purring and treading whenever he does something is hilarious!!
The only thing I saw was that he lets the cat go outside. I know the U.S. and UK have different feelings on that, but I do worry about such a famous cat.
