I hope someone can help . If I'm trying to transition my cat onto a new food but he won't eat his old food what do I do.
You know the way you add new food gradually but what happens if he's only eating new food and none of old food . Thanks in advance :argh:

If your cat won't eat the old food, just feed new. The reason to transition is partially so your cat accepts the new food and partially to prevent GI problems to the change. A sudden transition may cause runny poop or upset stomach for a few days. But it should subside after a few days. The bottom line would be your cat needs to eat so feed them what they will eat.
