I don't know about the dental impact of wet food. There's a Vetri Science Perio Plus treat supplement - if you trust your vet you might run the ingredients by him/her and see if it might be of value.

I actually don't trust this vets judgement a whole lot. I'm going to them because they have the best spay/neuter costs in my local area (which I'm also working towards doing now too). This is the vet that told me to put down my boy because he was tested FIV positive.. so definitely not too trusting of their judgement. (They've been very good with the neuter/spay surgeries though so far)
