Flea Medication- Revolution

I just gave my new cat her first does of revolution for fleas. Within a few hours she had scratched her skin raw where the medication was put. She now has a bald patch and sore on her neck. I put her in a cone but she can still scratch it. Should I stay away from Revolution next time? Or is she just being difficult?

Revolution causes a skin reaction in some sensitive cats. It may happen right awawy or it make take a few days for the reaction to show up. My Aby used to develop bald spots on his head within a few days after Revolution. Oher cats may develop a sort of itchy rash. I suggest calling the vet and asking for a dfferent product to use next time becuse your cat has a reaction to Revolution.

Okay thank you so much it's makes me feel better hearing she isn't the only one! I will start looking into other medications.
