All i was told is that dad was a grey bengal, im presuming from a line of bengals because the reason he was in tact was that he was used to breed once upon a time. But thats going off the info i got when i took meg in. I originally found her at just a few months old in a cat carrier at the side of a busy road. Straight to vet, no chip, bad way, fleas, underweight, dermatitis. Got her back to full health fairly quickly but because my 6 yr old was undergoing allergy testing (asthmatic, dust, pets etc) i rehomed her with a friend of a friend who already has 2 cats. Long story short she didnt take good care of her at all, didnt spay and allowed her to get out. Back in december she put a post up on facebook saying meg was free to anyone who wanted her. I obviously took her back that night and was very angry as you can imagine. It was only when i took her to the vets i realised the extent of her problems, and that she was pregnant which is when she came clean about her getting out on the 11th dec and being seen mating with the bengal (her real reason for wanting rid!) understandably, we are no longer in contact and meg is with us forever (allergy tests came back negative for pets) i regret not keeping her in the first place, but i couldnt be certain it wasnt megs fur causing my sons attacks and hospitalisation. Fair to say the both of them are now inseperable.
