Sounds like you've found yourself a good vet, even though you ahve to travel to get to him. At least you can consult by phone as much as possible, right?

How is Baby doing now?

I like the vet you've found, eventho he's on the mainland. Is there anyway to keep Baby inside so he's not exposed to those nasty parasites and such?

He was inside, the bird flew in through the window. Poor thing didn't stand a chance, I imagine.


In other countries they don't always have the same windows/screen set ups we do.

Maybe consider bird proofing the windows? (never had to say that before!) Vinyl or wood lattice would look attractive and could keep flying birds out. Heavier mesh wire would, too. Of course regular screens would be needed behind either of these.

Hi again...


Yes... too bad for me he's so far... but anyway I can always call him...

Now about keeping him safe.... I try as much as I can...

He's doing great and I am positive he'll stay like that !
