I have an offer for someone with a nice barn to take in the feral kitties that live in my backyard, but the issue is- how do I go about catching cats that I can't get near?
I have seen a lot of suggestions about using carriers and the like, but I am not sure what sort might be best to use. I somehow feel like my mostly cloth one won't be very useful in this situation. It seems like they would simply tear it up in fear! I don't have a trap, and humane traps are quiet expensive honestly. I don't have the money to get one right now. I've also seen suggestions of really aromatic foods, would a cat food do or should I use tuna or the like? There are five of them I'm pretty certain, and I worry that trapping one but not all might go less than well. I also have other cats who might try to eat the food, which might get in the way of what I want.
Suggestions are appreciated! Thank you for your time!
