Hi

Hope you all well.
First want to thank for the advise I received on this forum, it helped... Kitties are settled.

They have been acting strange , the Botha 11 months old, both females, the bigger cat had been mounting the smaller one, is this normal??

Attaching pic for better understanding

What's the context? Is it part of playtime wrestling matches, or is it isolated? How does the tabby girl react? Does she cry out at all?

Depending on the context, I'd say it's either play or dominance. If it's the latter, I'd try to redirect the silver girl and give both cats plenty of interactive playtime with you to give them additional appropriate outlets for their energy. This will boost the tabby's confidence and give the silver a better way to let off steam than dominating her sister.

She doesn’t seem to mind, she in fact lifts her head and licks the dorminate one.

It’s the first time I have noticed this, so am curious if it’s ok.

They both are actively busy with toys & time with me.
