Psycho just went for his yearly rabies vac which is required here by law. Our vet however has gone to a 7 year protocol for feline distemper. I am very happy about that and wondered if anyone else has a Vet using this protocol for Feline Distemper.

Testing has shown at least 6 years protection if not longer and a lot of vets are waiting longer to revaccinate.

My vet uses the 'whenever you want to get them vaccines' protocol. I get my kitties their kitten shots and 1st rabies. After that, pretty much not giving them vaccines. They've all been tested and are negative for the nasties, spayed or neutered, and go to the vet for regular check ups.
