Hey guys, I'm in need of some advice.

I just recently adopted a young female kitten who I've named "Kamo". I believe she is close to 10 weeks old by now, and my question is regarding her food.

When I first brought her home, I fed her purina kitten chow mixed with warm water and some wet food. Then I switched just to mixing a little wet food with the dry, and I fed that to her three times a day. I also keep a bowl out filled with just the dry food all the time for her to crunch on.

For the past week I've been feeding her the wet food twice a day instead of three times, and I'm not sure if this is the right move. She is able to eat the dry stuff by itself, but it seems as if she prefers it mixed. Any suggestions on what to do? Any tips or suggestions are appreciated!

As long as she has dry food out I think twice a day with wet is fine.

When Blossom was a baby I gave her 1/2 a kitten pouch of wet food mixed with dry at every meal. Now she's nearly 11 months I've started giving her the wet food once a day & 1 meal dry only as well as swithing her over to adult food.
