Hi,
I have a 12 year old and a 10 year old. I adopted 2 brother kittens in December and they are now 7 months old. I feed my 2 seniors 3oz can in the morning and lunch then 1/4th scoop dry at bedtime. They get weight management food. I feed the kittens 3oz wet in the morning and lunch and I leave out dry food all day for them. My big issue is the kittens want to eat the seniors wet and dry food. I have gated them off in the kitchen but then they cry. I have gated the seniors in the bedroom but they are unhappy about that. They wake me up in the middle of the night for food because the kittens eat up the seniors dry food. Help! Any suggestions would be great!
Thank you!

Hi!
Could you look into either a chip activated feeder for the seniors, or even creating/buying a playpen type of thing with hard sides that you could install a chip activated cat door into for the seniors to enter to get to their food?

Hi Furballsmom,
I will look into that and see if it's a possibility for my 2 senior cats.
Thank you
