one of my 9 wk old bsh kitten is having watery diarrhea atm after I fed spoiled KMR to him
it was really hard to tell the can was spoiled until i opened a diff can of KMR and tasted powder from both can myself
the spoiled one smell like normal however tasted a little bitter than the normal one where it should have a sweet taste
I tried using metronidazole , probiotics seperately and still doesn't help
atm i'm giving him albon ( sulfamethoxazole/ trimethoprim) and still having a watery diarrhea
the only imrprovement after feeding him albon is the color change of his stool from yellow to brown
i'm trying to figure out what in the spoiled powdered milk is causing his diarrhea
Vet from my area cannot be trusted , some do not have enough knowledge and others have their own agenda so i'm on my own
anyone have experience with feeding spoiled KMR or other kinda powdered milk to cat?
wondering if it's mold that is causing diarrhea and why wouldn't probiotics work.
