Family emergency.... how to with my kitten for the week?!

My grandmother passed suddenly, and I'm trying to figure out what to do with my kitten when I make the trip home. I'll be gone Thursday-Sunday. It's so last minute I'm not sure how to plan. I have a pet sitter hired to come in next week Tuesday-Thursday because I'll be out of town for work..... but now with this popping up..... what can I possibly do with my Skout, she's only 5 months old?!

Can that pet sitter do it this week, too? Or maybe you can board her at a boarding kennel or vet's office. She may not like that but it's kind of an emergency :/.
