Bear is 13 weeks old, we got him when he was 8 weeks. He eats solids like a champ, but is on the thin side. He has this habit of trying to nurse off of fabric and his favorite person(my bf) He does this out of comfort right? is there a way I can get him to stop? or is it something I have to live with?, don't get me wrong I'm not upset or mad about it. Would giving him a bottle of KRM hurt him? like to satisfy his need to nurse or would it make him dependent on the bottle?

He will probably grow out of it, but distraction is a good thing.. When he does it, gently remove him and give him his favourite food straight away, or play a game.

8 weeks is young to leave his mum, but he's in good hands now.

Bagel is now 18 weeks old but he still suckles. I decided to just give him his own "blankie" that he can suckle all he wants. I don't really find it a problem, since he's not creating wet spots on MY bedding, LOL.

Otherwise, redirecting his behavior towards food, play, or petting works too. Never punish his behavior, redirection is the key. :)
