You could try Terramycin Ointment for cats. That's what I ended up using and it cleared my cat's black eye boogers up. I had a hard time getting it in his eye, so I just kind of put in the corners of his eye with a Q-tip.
Pfizer Terramycin Opthalmic Ointment, 1/8 oz. at Tractor Supply Co.
I didn’t know they sold it there. I think I will. We just finished a round of oral antibiotics after they were spayed and neutered. I was hoping that would take care of it. I really don’t think it’s infection. I read a feline ophthalmologist explain about eye pigment becoming concentrated into black. It made sense.

The oral antibiotics didn't work for Demi's eyes either, only the ointment did. I'm not sure why.
