UPDATE: Well our little friend disappeared and we didn't think he was comming back and that was back in June. We were outside eating one evening when my two girls ran to the bottom of the garden and jumped onto the shelf by the back gate and then Mr white (that's what we nicknamed him) appeared over the top! We were so happy to see that he was ok, he had lost a lot of weight though. He has been visiting every day since and been sleeping in his kennel. For the past week we have been letting him into the enclosure for an hour every day and everything is working out so well. He will come for a fuss and rub round our legs and my girls are totally at ease with him. Yesterday I was sanding down a dressing table and he came and sat by me. We are going to take him to be fixed first week of October (unless he disappears again) and a few weeks after that may start to let him into the kitchen to be fed. The three of them already eat together outside. I want to take things really slowly as I don't want him to feel the need to spray anywhere. I hope we are doing the right thing!
