I have a funny story about black kittens- one day when i was volunteering at mewtopia a while back, we got in a littler of 5 solid black kittens. It was high kitten season, and we were clear out of names...So we named them:
Inkspot #1, Inkspot #2, Inkspot #3, Inkspot #4 and Inkspot #5
Everyone thought it was so hysterical, that when the kittens were adopted into their new homes, their owners kept their names, lol

Cinder & Fella is very cute Laureen!
I like Mischief & Madness too, but that would end up as Missy and Maddie around here. (uhm...are they girls????)
Yes, we need pictures.

Here are all the other "C" words I could find that refer to something sweet:Originally Posted by Renny
BUT: I have a new task for you guys!! I have 5 female dilute torties (3 weeks old...PICTURES COMING SOON!) that need to be named. I was hoping to have the names start with C and maybe involve sweets/candy (i.e. cinnamon, coco...ummm.....lol)
Those are awesome! I knew you guys you come up with some for me!!!!Originally Posted by Tari
Here are all the other "C" words I could find that refer to something sweet:
Candy, Caramel, Chantilly, Charlotte, Cherry, Chiffon, Cider, Clementine, Cola, Cookie, Cranberry, Crystal, Cupcake
Personally, I like Candy, Cinnamon, Coco, Cookie, and Cupcake.
Their coloration is hard to explain. They look like dilute torties but they are mostly grey (varying shades) with just the occasional splotch of cream (this is why i'm having trouble telling them apart).Originally Posted by Satai
To add to Tari's 'C' list:
Foods: Coffee, Cardamon, Clove, Currant, Confectionery,
Less well known foods: Comfit (spices, dried fruits, or nuts, coated with sugar candy), Cajeta (a Mexican confection of caramelized milk), Cocoplum (tropical fruit used mainly in jams)
Not foods:Capri (perfume or the island), Carthusia (perfume)
Five C names - and torties often have a lot of red (orange) on them (can't wait to see pics, this would be much easier!). My own selections will go with the colour theme and sweet food theme.
I like:
Cinnamon, Coffee, Chantilly, Comfit and Cajeta
[Ok, Coffee isn't always sweet, but it is used as a flavouring in sweet things or sweetened before drinking, and fits in with my percieved colour theme.]

I definitely love the came Clementine for the momma cat...she is such a darling even though someone threw her out (with 5 kittens) to starve to death. SHe is skin and bones but will try and nurse and eat at the same time so as not to deprive her babies. And she loves a good scritch!!
