Just wondering if anyone could spare some good vibes for Elle tomorrow! She's going in to get spayed at 8:30am, but has to stay overnight
I am starting to feel really bad about leaving her just like when Simon went in to get neutered. It's not that I am worried about the actual procedure, I am really confident with my vets abilites in that area, but I just hate the thought of leaving her alone when she's in pain, I know I would want my mom if I went in for surgery!
I am bringing in her favorite teddy bear and hope that will provide her comfort until I pick her up on Tuesday!
I am not sure what to expect from this procedure, I know Simon was lethargic for a few days and sleepy. This may be a little graphic, but they didn't give Simon any stitches and he was oozing a little bit which looked painful but the vet said it heals fine. Does anyone know if they most often use stiches for females or glue?
I also know that the spay is a more complicated procedure. I am sure I will find out more about the care needed after the procedure tomorrow when I take her in.
I am sure everything will be fine, I will update everyone once I hear back from the vet after the spay!
