I know people that breed Dubia roaches for their reptiles. Of course sometimes there are a few that escape their bin. My friend's cats just wait around the roach bin and gobble them up. Is that ok for them? The roaches are usually fed some veggies, fruits and organic cereals.

My cats eat a lot of insects that they find in their enclosure. It never seems to do them any harm.

I'm not sure about roaches, but they get beetles, butterfly, lizards, house fly, crickets and moths all the time.

It should be fine. My cats have always enjoyed eating the occasional roach they find in the garage and there were never any problems.
