Hi all - winter has set in and I noticed my 8 month old Sasha scratching a lot around her neck where her collar is. She has her monthly flea/tick medication and I inspected where she's been scratching and found nothing. I am assuming it's dry skin from the weather and the heating system for the house pumping in dry air.

I read that Omega 3 fats such as krill are great for a cat's coat. I've found some different pet chews by searching "Omega 3-6-9 Select" on Amazon.

Before I purchase I was wondering if anyone has given this to their cats with success? Any suggestions or recommendations?

I've been giving my guy a capsule of human vitamin fish oil on his no-onion chicken baby food treat. I think it's helping, he seems to have less dandruff and seems less itchy.

I give Hekitty small doses of olive oil (be careful...it is a bit of a laxative) during the winter. It's rich in fatty acids that are great for their skin and fur.
