My cat Bailey is pregnant and I was looking at her nipples last night and they seem very dry and almost scabby. Is this normal or should they be soft and supple? Do I need to put something on them???
My cat had dry nipples too. when she had her litter in the middle of the night and the nipples were still dry, I drove to the vet hospital at 4:00 am to get a bottle/milk replacement kit. I finally dozed off and around 8:30 that morning all the kittens were nursing. Once the kittens start suckling on a dry nipple, that action will eventually bring them into production from our experience. I'm pretty sure they'll be allright.Originally Posted by ardnax
