I've never actually doubled a batch of raw cat food. But I got a great deal on chicken thighs. I know with recipes for humans, you don't double the salt, but what about raw cat food?

Maybe I should just do half today and half tomorrow, but I really would prefer to just get it done.

Any advice is appreciated.

Cheers,

Hi! I'm envisioning that you do one batch and follow a recipe for that batch.
Then you do a second batch and follow the recipe again, or am I not understanding?

Well you want to get the right amount of iodine so I would follow the recipe and double it if you're making double the cat food. I make 20 pounds of cat food at a time.

I would maintain the same ratios for all of your ingredients. If I were doubling the muscle meat, I’d double everything else as well.

Thanks! That's what I figured, but I had a moment of panic.
