hello i have 2 jack russels both currently 3 and from different litters. one bitch and one dog. Chloe had a litter of pups at 6 months by Elvis and we never really got her fully house trained as she became a young mother. we kept one of the pups for a year. so our 3 young dogs were all in the house at different stages of house training. eventually we were force to re home the pup at 1 year as he and his dad Elvis were fighting for the top dog position in our house and amungst each other. elvis and chloe never really were fully housed trained. elvis would scent mark but chloe would be a full blown relief . we have started back to basic last thing at night and first thing in the morning with loads of praise and treats for each trip out side. she understands that when we put her out its time for a wee. the problem we are faced with is that she pees in her own bed nearly every night. they both sleep in the kitchen and have access the the garden via a dog flap 24/7 but she still soils her bed. he is good and goes outside but the poor guy has to live with her soiling his bed too. i had her in the crate but she just pees there all the time. i took her to the vet for a check up and all seems fine. vets and pet shop employees keep telling me the basic house training steps but they are not working. please please please what should we do.
