10 lbs of meat would need about 1 3/4 tsp of Morton's Lite salt to just meet the AAFCO minimum recommendation for iodine. That would provide about 0.42 mg of iodine.
Per feline-nutrition (dot) org, there should be 1.5tsp per 5 to 6 lbs of raw meat/bones/organs. This is the recipe I use since I buy 80/10/10 grinds.

The amount I gave is the correct amount for 10 lbs of meat (or meat and organs excluding thyroid) as per AAFCO recommendations.

Specific recipes will vary in how much iodine they call for depending on the other ingredients in the recipe and on how much the iodine amount exceeds AAFCO recommendations. There is a minimum recommended amount and a safe upper limit but not a precise amount that must be used.
