Does my shelter cat appear to be part Oriental?

Yes, could be.   :)

Or a siamese mated with a blackie - the child will not be pointed, but a blackie oriental alike.   They are near akin these breeds, and siameses are more common.

Thank you for your reply! He is such a sweet cat :) He loves to run and play but is also very affectionate and makes cute noises a lot. He is into evvvverything and likes to touch or stand in the middle of everything we do!

Does he 'talk' a lot? With that longer face and skinny body he looks like he has a lot of oriental in him. My oriental cross talks a lot. (and talks back!) No matter what he is, he's a beautiful cat!

Thank you! I think so too, He looks like a little wild cat :) He does make noises a lot. If I call him, he jumps up and meows in my face after running to me. He has little high pitched vibrating meow-y reactions to a lot of things.
