Does anyone make their own cat toys?

I love to sew and make my brats toys myself. However I have all but exhausted my imagination of things/ shapes to make. Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions, or patterns they can pass on?

They're great!  Lots of floppy bits..

I'm a hopeless sewer but I've just taken up knitting with a vengeance, so I suppose it's just a matter of time.

My very lazy cat toys are ping pong balls... my cats adore them and I'm always sucking them up on the end of the vacuum cleaner..

I'm thinking about making them to sell. I know a lot of cat people. They're all hand sewn. I don't use a sewing machine. I also put catnip in them. The cats love them!!!

those are awesome! I heard cats like blues and greens, maybe try making some with those colors?

I will definitely try doing something in green and blue. Mine seem to really like orange too!
