I already hear Loki screem from behind the door *LOL* -. He is there as soon as I open the door. I normally enter the house via the garage and make 100% sure that the garage door is closed before I open the door to the house. Better safe than sorry - he is my nosey boy!!! Would never forgive myself if something happened to my little guy!
Mine just don't care if I come home or not. They sit on the chairs in the livingroom and survey who's coming in. If it's me, they just sit there normally, once in awhile Rocket comes to see me, but if Brad comes home, they all run to the door like there's a mouse behind it, and yeowl over and over until he pays attention to them. He has to pet them before he even gets past the kitchen to see me somedays! LOL!
Bob is the only cat brave enough to attempt to ride the waves of 12 doggie paws and three tails stamming around as I walk in the door but he trys real hard.
He usually walks away before he gets trampled but as soon as I head to my room to change into my comfy clothes he follows me and precedes to tell me about his day and ask how mine was
We just came back last night from five days in L.A. and Persi was waiting in the laundry room that opens into the garage. He actually jumped at us like a dog would. Alas, Alley was nowhere to be seen however. She showed up about an hour later!
Jacob is always by the front door waiting, and Löki at the top of the stairs.. Jacob winds around your ankles, and Löki instantly rolls on his back and presents his belly for rubbing! I love kitty greetings!
Also when I leave for work, I often look up and see Radar on the windowsill looking at me! It's funny because sometimes he gets excited to see me and bangs his head on the glass
The moment the car pulls into the driveway, Quill is at the door waiting. He won't even try to escape, he's afraid to go outside. Then he'll give us a few sweet eye kisses and then flop on his belly to give him a rub. When he feels like it he will usually come and give some knee butts (The moment I typed this he came in and gave one to me
). And then once everything's back to normal he will be beside me from that time on until I go to bed, either sleeping, playing, or whatever.
Iris bolts out to greet me if she's not already in the room snoozing. Chloe alternates between bolting out and then pretending not to care, or taking her sweet time to saunter out to say hello.
Tavia walks into the living room just out of reach due to the dogs jumping all over the place and then she meows loudly for me and runs to the cabinet and jumps up there and purrs first for a few scratches and then her wet food. And if I decide to wind down before getting her food she lets me know about it.
Ahhhhhh my boys are something else. I always come in through the garage so I am pretty sure they know when I am home when they hear the garage door go up. I enter the laundry room when I come in from the garage and Taylor is always there to say hi. Most often, Gunner is napping in my bed when I get home and he doesn't come greet me.
