She's three and I adopted her last week. I was just curious.
Very true. But modern persians are so especial, being purebred this rather extreme way "painted themselves into that corner". You just cant miss it when you see it. So technically, yes, she is a "persian look alike". Practically, as long as you see her as your pet cat just for Company and possibly some showing her in Household Pet class, without ambitions to bred on her, nor sell her as purebred, nor participate in Shows for pedigree cats, you can see her calmly as a pure persian. Yes. This including possible medical problems and vet errands...Where did you get her. Unless you have registration papers and/or her pedigree, there's really no way to tell what breed she is. The most you can say is that she's a persian look-alike. I love her coloring.
