ok lets try this again. There is nothing they can do about nf besides cut out the tumors. I check Arlo over twice a month for any signs of tumor growths or new spots. He also is learning delayed, and has some kind of gastro issue that is not dignosed. He bloats very badly. My biggest fear is for him to get a tumor in the wrong spot and it cause serious problems. Also if he gets any external tumors if he will be teased. He is the whole reason I found out I have it. I have 23 cafe au lait spots. I always thought they were scars from tape. Well he started getting the spots. I looked up causes. Found nf. Many of the symptoms fit me so I asked for the dna test. It came back positive. I also have some learning issues. I cant do math to save my live, spelling and grammer are horid. But my verbal reasoning is a iq score of 119. So with my weakness comes strength. We both have large head. When he was born his head was 15 inches around. My other bio son has epilepsy but not nf. Both have already had surgery. (Arlo the youngest was 1 year 2 months old. Zay my oldest bio was 6) he only started having seizures aug 2012. He had his first at the top of the stairs. I was so scared. We always have dr apointments. Arlo has also been hospitalized 2 times. Thankful Xzaviers condition can be treated. I worry about my tumors becoming cancerous because my birth grandmother died of cancerous brain tumors. (I was adopted at birth but in touch with bio family. Got in contact when I was 22 so we never thought to think about tumor growths). No, although endometriosis is another risk factor for endometrial hyperplasia. This condition is just the abnormal thickening of the uterus walls due to too much estrogen. As far as I know (at least for me), it doesn't cause any pain. My symptoms were suddenly irregular periods and occasionally bloody discharge. Besides that, no symptoms. But you need to treat it and keep an eye on it because it is a precursor to uterine cancer.
Oh man I just googled your conditions and now I feel bad for complaining about what I have Your conditions sound awful. And your poor son. How manageable are they?
