This afternoon, I have to cover a workshop dealing with how to increase the participation of young families in the sacremental life of the Catholic Church. Doesn't that sound exciting?
Tonight, from 6-9 p.m. I have to attend the annual recognition dinner for donors to the high school that our Sisters sponsor. It's one of those hoity-toity, formal dress up, stand around making small talk with people you know barely functions that I absolutely hate.
I'm not complaining and both of these things could turn out to be fun, but I still wish I didn't have to go!
