Heya! While your boy does have a high white van pattern that’s commonly associated with the Turkish Van breed, I see no indication of him being one, or having one in his ancestry. Van patterns simply mean a cat has two copies of the white spotting gene causing the white markings on the body, causing high coverage. There are only around 2% pedigree cats the world over, with little more being true mixes, and the rest are cats without specific breed origin — unlike with dogs, cat fancy is a pretty modern thing, so the majority of cats won’t have any relation to a breed — at least not anything recent. Turkish Vans are a fairly rare, semi-longhair breed of cat, with some distinct shapes in the head that I’m not really seeing with your boy.

I’d describe him as a high white/van pattern white red (most likely red tabby, hard to tell which pattern with the amount of white) domestic shorthair. He’s a gorgeous cat, and lack of breed ancestry doesn’t make him any less special :>
