do cats have bellybuttons?

Khepera has one!! I found his the day I got him, I was all paranoid and thought it was a teeny tiny hernia, but the vet said, nope, that's his navel!

I never thought about it.
it took the kittens cord about a week to fall off, but I never checked for a belly button.

On my Russian Blue it is a flat white spot completely naked of any fur. It doesn't seem to be any more sensitive than parts that are covered with fur.

I wonder if Uncle Cecli knows why kitty navels are so smooth compared to human bellybuttons. . .
