maybe I'm missing something. I'd have said scrap the dishwasher, and let's spend the money on something like another cat
OH and by the way, best NOT to put plastic stuff in unless it states that they're dishwasher safe. The dishwasher tends to get incredibly hot and melt stuff. I know, I've seen it happen. It ruined a dishwasher
