Absolutely, I love both US and UK types and would happily have either to share my life with. I don't consider one to be better than the other, and the personality is very similar on both sides of the Atlantic. Just that I am always surprised by how the breeds have gone in different directions, probably largely due to our until recent very strict quarantine laws which meant there was no crossbreeding between US and UK cats. We are still outcrossing Cornish because the genepool here is so small, the breed pretty much died out in the UK for a while!
