Definitely not purebred but I think there’s a Siamese ancestor in there somewhere?

Meet little Smudge. He is a rescue kitty, probably DSH. His veterinary papers say “Siamese mix”. Based on his behavior and his looks, I’d have to agree. He’s even more vocal than Tessa (my Tonkinese), he jumps on my shoulder, and his eyes glow red at night. 💗
Just curious what everyone here thinks. Thanks!

Oh WOW, I LOVE meezers!!! -- love your shot catching him in midair, but all these photos are wonderful! My angel boy was incredibly vocal, and a tad bonkers with a huge personality, and years later I met the sweetest little meezer lady who was a total shoulder kitty (in a no-kill shelter so although it broke my heart that I couldn't take her home at least she was safe).

Not quite an old-style/apple-head (at least not yet although his cheeks may fill out some, maybe), but nonetheless, my heart's flown out the door to this little dude.

Thank you so much! He’s a sweet little stinker! He’s also incredibly active, but he’s a boy and a kitten and he’s still not fixed. The rescuer said it’s best to wait until they’re 6 months if you can. I verified this with my vet and she said yes, wait until he’s 6 months. But never fear, he will be getting fixed as soon as the time is right!
For now, I’m working on getting him and Tessa to tolerate one another. We’re getting there. Slowly, but we’re making progress. :hearthrob::hearthrob:

Yes. With points we can seldom know fo sure how far back their siamese ancestry is. What we know is he has the recessive point gene doubled up. And he also carry black. for this, the ancestor / ancestor, ie the original donator of the point gene, can be even 50 generations back.
Still, he is a fair look alike to an old type siamese.
The only way to know for sure is to take a DNA test; which may be worth the money in his case. This done by Davies U has the best reputation in this field.
