Dallas Cocktail / Full Mouth Extraction

I have a question for those who have or have had cats with severe gum inflammation.   How many of you have tried the Dallas cocktail and did it work or not work for your cat?  Also, how many of you have chosen the full mouth extraction and did it help or not help your cat?

Oh, forgot to mention that Foster is an FIV+ kitty (we think).  He will be retested next month to find out if it was a false positive.  With that being said, has anyone had experience with Advantage II not working on fleas because a cat is FIV+?

I like everyone like to see both sides of the story here is a response to a discussion which sounds negative, however, I can tell you I was aware that the syrup was not FDA approved but nether is Medacam and clinics prescribe it all the time - you are the one that has to make the decisions for Foster - my baby of 20 years was prescribe Medacam (geez, I hope I am spelling that correctly) when I got home I did my research and felt it was not in her best interest at that time - that is why on my last post I wondered if you need to get another opinion on Fosters situation -  also, there is a discussion on this link as to why the Dallas clinic will not tell you what are the ingredients of syrup, well, because Dr. Wiggs died before they could get it patented and approved - that's in my opinion why our doctors have to sign the agreements - here's the response post link for you to help make your decisions:
