curly-tailed cats

Just recently (since he is on Sertraline/Zoloft to gain confidence), Grisou is curling his tail when walking.

I'm wondering how many other curly tailed ones are out there, and do you know what started it (they sure aren't born little piglets)?

Not concerned anymore, just curious...

We've got two curly-tailed females, tabby and tabby and white, at the shelter, both ferals from different colonies, so presumably unrelated. One was an adult when trapped, the other about 6 months, so I can't tell you whether they were born that way.

Marcus has a definate curl to the end of his tail as well, but I didn't know a lot about him, he came from a shelter at 6 mos old.
